Log Entry #7
Loaded up and on the road again we hope to conclude are Washington Backroads Discovery Route adventure today.
The route today is, Omack to Okanogan which gets us to the second half of section 5.
We ride up Loop Loop Canyon to Conconully. Nice town with a beautiful lake!
Section 6 brings us to Lone Frank Pass, the highest elevation obtained on our quest at 6,712 feet.
What goes up must come down!
Long downhill to Toats Junction with a side trip to Gold Springs to locate the GeoCache signing register for the WABDR!
From there we pass Palmer Lake and head up to Nighthawk WA.
In visual site of Canadian border we head 9 miles east to Oroville WA. For a celebration dinner and one last night in the USA for me.
Rhys is headed to Idaho in the morning and I am headed to the BMW dealer in Kelowna Canada for a new TKC 70 rear tire.
The WABDR route is awesome and has honed our riding skills to a new level!
Now its North to Alaska!
